YOGA:Concentrated Core

This specially designed VINYASA YOGA class for adults whose children are simultaneously having a Dynamic Kung Fu Workout, Concentrated Core works your entire body, focusing on fluid transitions from yoga posture to to counter yoga posture in a strength style platform of 6-12 repetitions per set, x2-3 sets per exercise. Find your strength for any activity while stretching, flexing & focusing your mind & body.

Yin Yoga/ Yoga Nidra

 

Rest, Recharge and prepare to live each day in the moment. When  you'd like to be present, and get the most out of your week, join us for this restorative, gentle Tuesday afternoon  practice. Think, adult nap time! This class sends you into a gentle rest by preparing the body with restorative poses from Yin Yoga and into guided meditation. Don't forget the Almond milk & locally made cookies! Led by Susan Huff

Reconnect with your body, reduce your stress and improve your balance and core strength while enjoying time with your child in this 60 minute mat Pilates based class that is designed to let your child freely express their innate fascination with movement, energy and interacting.  This is also a stress free manner in which to take part in an understanding community with other parents or caregivers. While you enjoy the physical and psychological benefits of a Pilates based class, your child will be stimulated by their connection with you in movement!

 

Youth Dynamic Skills and Coordination Development 

 

Our Coaches and Certified Personal Trainers will cross Train your youth in the most up to date Sports Medicine Based modalities to prepare them for success in the upcoming season. From Strength training, plyometrics and speed conditioning, cardiovascular efficiency, to martial arts toughness, flexibility and coordination, Golden Harmony Youth Athletic Training develops the young athlete to be their best! 

This 55 minute moderate to high intensity workout geared to help young aspiring athletes to get ahead of the curve and develop basic coordination and movement skills. Balance, rhythm, spatial orientation and the ability to react to both auditory and visual keys are essential elements of coordination and a must for future success in all athletes and they are an integral aspect of this program.

Yoga For Martial Artists & Athletes

Yoga has long been paired with the martial arts as a balancer. For thousands of years, warriors have used yoga and flexibility training as a way to increase range of motion, maximize power, as well as balance the body & mind from the rigorous training regimes and combat. Modern athletes gain the same benefits from this practice, with faster recovery time, increased muscle recruitment, flexible and strong joints & connective tissue. 

Join us for this interactive, and comprehensive practice that covers: Asanas (postures), partner stretches, dynamic flexibility training, myofascial release (foam rolling and massage), breath control & use of props (TRX, blocks, straps, Bosu & more!). This class provides the tools and the time to bring your body back into alignment and maximize your performance! This practice is open to all levels and is perfectly acceptable for beginners and non athletes alike!

Are your young children in our Kung Fu Panda program? Is your personal workout time been cut short by your busy family schedule? Why not take 30 minutes for yourself twice a week while your child is having fun exercising, and get your body right! We have designed this jam packed class to be lean, mean & effective on your abs, and the rest, with interval timed body weight exercises, medicine & Bosu Balls, and a whole lot of fun! Focus on yourself, while we focus on your families fitness.

While this class emphasizes the fundamentals of an asana practice for the beginner, it is also designed to meet the needs of more advanced yogis looking for deepen their practice with correct alignment of the postures and proper breathing techniques. 

This Vinyasa Flow Yoga class assists in creating and maintaining awareness and focus on the breath while moving through a series of postures. The sequence of postures may be different from class to class, but always follow an intelligent progression that moves from basic to complex. This style of yoga builds heat, flexibility and strength, while maintaining focus on good alignment and sound structure. Postures may be held for longer periods of time, and will flow together to unite the body to the breath and mind. Suitable for beginner to intermediate students.
